When exciting new faces emerge in the entertainment world, audiences flock to see all of their new projects. Rege-Jean Page came out of the shadows when he became Simon, our favorite duke in the Netflix drama show Bridgerton. Page was quick to step into the massive spotlight in such a viral sensation of a show that it was easy to see his career is on the rise. However, although Bridgeton is considered his “breakout” performance, Page has been playing for quite some time.

5 The gray man
Netflix has been dominating the streaming service industry for the past few years, and many big-budget original projects have made headlines. Page was part of the cast of one of their latest releases, the action thriller The gray manwhich has received very mixed reviews since its release. The gray man has a lot of things audiences expect from a great action movie, like sketchy agencies, assassins, and well-choreographed sequences. Not to mention that the cast is absolutely filled with talent. It includes Page, Ryan Gosling, Ana de Armas and Chris Evans.
4 For the people
The page is everywhere! How about checking it out in a legal drama? Page starred as Leonard Knox in the 2018 short series For the people. The show, created by Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers, ran for two seasons on ABC and follows a group of new lawyers assigned to work on some of the biggest cases in the country. Also included in the cast are Malachi Kirby as Kunta Kinte, Anika Noni Rose as Kizzy, Forest Whitaker as Fiddler, and Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Tom Lea.
2 Sylvia’s love
The romantic drama of 2020 Sylvia’s love is a beautiful second-chance romance. We have a woman named Sylvie, who has a year-long summer fling, and when the man comes back into her life, the flames that burned all those years ago are still burning. This film is set in 1950s Harlem with Page playing Chico Sweetney, Tessa Thompson as Sylvie, Nnamdi Asomugha playing Robert, and Aja Naomi King as Mona. If you want to watch this movie, which you absolutely should, it’s streaming on Amazon Prime.
We burn for Bridgerton season 1. The first season of Bridgerton should be framed and suspended for how popular culture is impacted in 2020. The Netflix show is a screen adaptation by Julia Quinn Bridgerton series of books. Page stars in the series as Simon Bassett, a bachelor and duke who strikes up a relationship with Bridgerton’s eldest daughter, Daphne, played by Phoebe Dynevor. The chemistry between them is off the charts and after participating in this project, Page became a big name in the industry. Although he opted out of continuing to play Simon in the show’s highly successful second season, we’re all still holding out hope for a pop-up or pop-up here and there in the future. That said, according to Yahoo, Page recently gave his blessing to the Bridgerton redefine its role.
