Postmodernism

Encored” creates a vision of postmodern burlesque

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) — A lot has changed for Moon Muses burlesque in just one year, namely the location. Moon Muses have gone from sold-out shows in an easy talking bar to performing to double the size audiences in actual theaters. Now they are expanding again to keep up with demand.

Producer, director, choreographer and singer, Marla Paulina established Paulina Productions in 2021 and was fascinated by its growth in just one year. She stopped by Morning Break to talk about how the show, Moon Muses, was brought back to Artown this year due to demand.

This show mixes song, dance, live music and aerial arts with a postmodern burlesque touch.
