7-Eleven stores in Australia use digital signage
Visual Art, a digital signage provider in Stockholm, Sweden, is entering the Australian market with 7-Eleven convenience store deployments.
Working with a local supplier, Visual Art’s CMS Signage Player software was delivered to 7-Eleven stores across Australia. The effort developed as 7-Eleven sought more flexible and easier-to-use software for digital in-store communication channels, according to a press release.
“It’s always fun when you enter a whole new market and of course even more fun when you can get such a big deal for such a well-established client,” said Anders Apelgren, CEO of Visual Art, in the statement.
“We have a long-term goal of growing outside of Europe, and although we are mainly focusing and investing in the Nordic region and Europe now, Australia is a real feather in our hat for our solution. “
Visual Art has worked with 7-Eleven in Sweden and Denmark, but the agreement in Australia will be completely independent of this collaboration, the statement said.
“One of the great advantages of our solution is that we can manage both technology and content easily and securely,” said Apelgren. “This gives the customer great opportunities to quickly and easily modify and adapt the content, but also for us to help at all levels up to the end customer.”
The deployment of digital signage for 7-Eleven in Australia is expected to be completed this summer. Visual Art, founded in 1997, has offices in Sweden, the Nordic countries, Spain, Germany and the United States
